Whole 30 FAQs

WHAT IS IT?

Whole30 is a diet and lifestyle reset. For 30 days, you'll eat nothing but "whole" foods, including vegetables, fruits, meat, and seafood. The intention is to retrain your body's cravings and hunger cues, to learn to eat (and enjoy!) truly nourishing foods when you are actually hungry. Whole30 also functions as a type of elimination diet, in which you can discover whether certain food groups (like grains, gluten, or sugar) might be contributing to other health issues. Whole30 is NOT meant to be a lifelong way of eating, or to restrict calories, or to be purely a weight-loss program (although you may lose weight while on the program). Whole30 IS designed to give you food freedom, to help you discover what foods help your body function best, and to cleanse and reset your digestive system.

HOW IS IT BENEFICIAL?

The Happy Belly Whole30 Delivery Program will provide more than just Whole30 compliant meals. Chef Megan has infused these seasonal recipes with her signature repertoire of superfoods, such as hemp seeds, spirulina, coconut yogurt, and turmeric. We are partnered with Peaceful Pastures to serve only locally farmed, grass-fed, organic proteins. Our resident Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Quincie Snook, has evaluated the macro-nutrients of each recipe to ensure you receive the proper balance of nutrients, as well as plenty of fiber to cleanse your digestive tract. Happy Belly will deliver your breakfast, lunch, and dinner twice a week, on Saturdays and Wednesdays. You'll also receive a Whole30 snack guide, and a reintroduction guide. We will build a Happy Belly Whole30 community, where you can share your challenges and triumphs, and ask advice of Chef Megan or NTP Quincie. We'll also host live weekly virtual discussions, with topics ranging from Listening to Your Hunger Cues to Successful Reintroduction.

why do we believe in it?

I've been curious about Whole30 for years, and I'm so excited to finally try it with the support of this Happy Belly community. As a mom of two young boys and business owner, I'll admit that there are days I feel run down. I'm so ready to reset my diet in a healthy and nourishing way, with the support of Quincie and this community! I'm looking forward to the absence of decision fatigue during this program, where we'll receive new delicious recipes with each delivery without having to ever ask ourselves "What's for dinner?" I hope you'll join me!

what can i eat? what do i have to avoid?

Foods you can eat: fruits, vegetables, meat, seafood, eggs, nuts and seeds, olive oil and coconut oil, coffee (thank God!)

Foods to avoid: dairy, grains, legumes, added sugars, processed foods and additives, baked goods, alcohol (we can do this, people!)

What does it cost?

The first 10 clients to purchase will receive this complete meal package and membership at the discounted price of $1,500. That’s about $16 per meal for an organic, chef-crafted menu delivered straight to your door, with no cooking required. Full price is $1,800, and you can secure your spot with a 50% deposit.
